Betrayal in Death (In Death, #12) - J.D. Robb, Susan Ericksen
This investigation was so horrifying, because a man can simply walk to a person and kill for money. After Eve started the investigation and we discovered his family is so messed up it was really strange seeing how much the human nature can be disturbed.

We have a friend of Roarke showing up in a very suspicious way and I started to think bad things about him, but not as bad as what exactly happened, and this guy is considered a friend above everything else. I liked how Eve never really stopped being a cop and could see clearly through this guy, but Mick was really good.

I liked the story because it revolved around so much different things and we could clearly see someone is after Roarke, plus they attacked Summerset, but of course he is safe and sound after everything. I liked how protective this family became of each other.
